Are republicans counted in our polls for Obama? |
|
Or is it just dems and independents? I am meeting a lot of republicans voting for Obama.

You seem to not understand how polls work, no offense.

...OK, I don't know EXACTLY how they work either. Foot into mouth.
HOWEVER, I do know that all pollsters try to use proportional numbers of Dems, Repugs, and Indies in their sampling, based on Registration from 2004 or sometimes later. They'll call people up based on assumed party affiliation, or lack thereof. THEN, they'd ask them who they're voting for.

6. Yes. They get counted by who they say they're voting for. |
|
Thus you might see 12 or 15% of Republicans voting for Obama. Maybe even a few Dems for McNutso.
