Obama extends national lead 55% to 42% - Globe
http://www.boston.com/news/politics/politicalintelligence/2008/11/obama_extends_n.html

A new national poll out today shows Barack Obama extending his sizable lead over John McCain.

In the CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey of likely voters, Democrat Obama is ahead 53 percent to 46 percent. Among the broader pool of registered voters, Obama's lead is even larger -- 55 percent to 42 percent over Republican John McCain.

That lead is up 2 percentage points among likely voters and 3 among registered voters from two weeks ago.

The poll was conducted Thursday through Sunday and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points among likely voters and 3 points among registered voters.

The daily Diageo-Hotline tracking poll has Obama up 50 percent to 45 percent among likely voters. That poll was conducted over the same three days and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.3 percentage points.

1. Wow
I had only seen the likely voter numbers but the registered voters numbers are amazing. I truly think that the likely voter models will not be as accurate as they were in 2004. Democratic turnout is going to be sky-high. K&R.

4. I've said this to all of my friends who would listen
This will NOT be an election that can be measured with likely voters. These polls that have Obama leading by 5-7 points with likely voters, will get a HUGE surge, when all votes are counted on Tuesday.
