I Don't Know About You But I Respect And Honor McCain's Military Service And That's It
Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 06:17 PM by DemocratSinceBirth
He doesn't strike me as a very nice man...I'll bet he's verbally abusive to his wife as exhibited by the fact he called her a cunt... I can't imagine calling a woman that under any circumstance...

He also is verbally abusive to other senators including those from his own party...

He strikes me as temperamentally unfit to be Commander In Chief...

1. If his military service can fix this damn economy, reduce my taxes or jail those
birds on Wallstreet--I'm in. Since it won't, its not relevant to me and my vote.

he was a low-life who BARELY graduated Annapolis and crashed his jet more times than Bush was too drunk to fly.

he has been a loser his whole life.

5. Not only did he call her that, but he called her that in front of journalists.
No, not only morally repulsive and vile, but imprudent beyond what one could expect from a thoughtful, mentally healthy individual.

6. Did you serve?
Don't mean to put you on the spot, but I wonder if you know how the military works.

He went into the 'family business'.
Didn't really have much choice.
He (barely) graduated from Annapolis at the bottom of his class.
He crashed 2 planes while in training.
If his name had been John Sidney Johnson he'd have washed out of pilot training, but his daddy and granddaddy were admirals so...

I'm a former USAF pilot.
He got a lot more breaks and passes than I would have.
No, I don't honor him for his service.

7. No
But I respect anybody who served unless they acted dishonorably...

BTW, my dad received a Purple Heart from WW 11...He took shrapnel in the eye and gut during the Battle Of North Africa ...He was at Walter Reed Hospital for six months...He had several surgeries on his eye....They could save the eye cosmetically but not the sight...

8. I don't even respect his service, because he was shitty in that regard, too.
He barely got out of the Academy, and anybody else who had even ONE incident with a jet (he had 3 or 4) would've had their career dead-ended. It's all about his connections.

Oh, and the fact that he sang like a canary when he was a POW doesn't say much for him, either.

9. I respect *that* he served, if not *how* he served.
And that was a long damned time ago, since when he's been betraying us at every opportunity.

On the balance, there very little left in my "respect" bucket for John McCain.

10. How he served matters, ask these guys.

The rest of it all, well, we can decide for ourselves.

It's all out there.

Song bird.
