A complaint about her worrying too much does NOT mean we HATE her.

It just means we don't like that she complains so much. That's it and that's all! I know it's an internet tradition to blow every damn thing anyone said way out of proportion, but please stop thinking we hate someone just because we've said ONE thing sort of critical about them!

Okay? OKAY!?

:argh:

7. Most of us do! That's my point!
I'm sick of topics about "hating her" just because we complain about her pessimism.

23. I didn't mean to imply that only younger people watched her. I just read
somewhere that she is pulling in a college and twenty something group.

I love her show and I'm not in that demographic either.

8. I love Rachel Maddow. A ton. The smartest woman on television. Possibly the smartest human on tv.
I admit I didn't like her analysis of her interview with Obama, and her hand wringing makes me anxious.

10. Must be why her ratings
are trumping Larry King?

Rachel has always been on the cynical side. Keeps our feet on the ground.

nobody has said they hate her
some of you sound like freepers. disagreeing with someone or not like what they say does not equal hate.

12. She's the best that MSNBC has and her worries reflect my own.
She regularly tops that old reprobate Pat Buchanan & he even seems
to enjoy it somehow making him mostly very wrong but a nice guy
in spite of it. The talking down bit has worked for her as it works for
a lot of us. OK? OK!

Because she's not drinking the Kool-Aid that this going to be a total walk in the park. She's reminding the asshole contingent that just wants to celebrate without doing any fucking work that they need to get their asses out there and get everyone they know to vote!

EDIT: But when she's NOT doing that, I think she's awesome.

20. I happen to like that aspect of her.
Just about all I've seen on tv in the last FOREVER, is people all cheery and gleeful and shiny, with good hair. I'm not that way. And I love having representation.

I'm pessimistic until I see reason to be happy. Like the Tacoma Narrows engineers should have been. Haha.

21. Remember back in the primaries if you expressed any disagreement with Senator Clinton
you automatically became a Hillary Hater? Too often online disagreement=hatred. Big, big difference that evidently many do not grasp.
