I know he supports Obama but the way he is talking it sounds like he thinks it could either way.

1. That's odd, yesterday he was certain Obama would win.

3. He said he thinks Obama needs to be at least 5-7 points up in the polls to win.

2. Frankly, I appreciate anyone fighting complacency in the Obama camp.
Not sure that's what he's doing and I do worry that the race being "up for grabs" means it will be easier to steal, but I would rather everyone be worried and do more than to rest on their laurels, so to speak.

5. Remember that he is still very much a repuke.
And a shill one at that. My mother still hasn't gotten over his switching to vote for Obama (she has monitored her enemies on RW hate talk radio for over 30 years).

10. Yeah. But he endorsed Obama. And never dismiss the concern of people who live in the state
They know more about it. And he said Obama needs to be up 5-7 points. Which he is.

We can't dismiss everyone who is concerned about PA. Especially the ones who are around there

13. I live in the state and am 5-generations here.
And Smerconish is on the radio here in Philadelphia. He is STILL a right wing hack. Someone should ask him who he is voting for in the other PA races. Surely NOT the Democrats running for Attorney General, State Treasurer, State Reps., etc.

8. remember, he is, at the root, a right wing maniac
remember, also, that he was inundated by outraged responses for his supposed apostasy

he's thinking about how bad a career move his Obama commendation will be for his 401K/IRA, etc.

he showed his true colors tonight, as tweety swings back, once again, the other way, giving in to the socialist charges, without playing back this clip, from HIS OWN SHOW:

9. He said that Obama's really up by 7 AND that he always thought Obama would have to be up by
5-7% if he's gonna win. THEN he went on to talk that talk.

11. One of the problems with his Rizzo story
is that Rizzo was far behind, true, but he was behind to W Wilson Goode, who was most famous for burning down an entire block of West Philadelphia when he made the genius decision to raid the MOVE compound. Goode had a lot of stated support, mostly from the African American community, but it was an inch deep and people were not excited to come out for him. Rizzo, on the other hand, was a very charismatic (and evil) politician who was beloved by South and Northeast Philadelphia. Anybody could have told you that Goode would barely win reelection. He was inept.

15. Gore won the popular vote and lost the electoral college
but hopefully the point spread this time will put in out of McCains reach. I'll celebrate Tues night when they call the election
