Phone messages today...
I live in Ohio, the family went out of town today to visit my in-laws. While we were out we got 4 messages. 2 from the Republican campaign---one that used Hillary saying that Obama isn't ready and one that "warned" me about Obama's economic plans. 2 were from the Obama campaign, one to remind me that tuesday is the election, pretty generic, the second was from Michelle Obama telling me how important this election is, how America needs a change and ended with a message of the address of my polling place--very informative. I was struck (again) by how negative one campaign is and how "helpful and positive" the other one is. Neither of Obama's messages even mentioned McCain while the Republicans only message was to scare me into not voting for Obama.

Interesting.

and someone stole my Obama yard sign while I was gone.

1. weird that you are getting both kinds of calls
do the Reps really think that many of us will change their minds due to those ridiculous arguments - and using Hillary for sleazy purposes?

3. I've somehow managed to get on the
republican email list--I am a registered dem, volunteered for both the campaign and moveon. I had a theory it is because I'm a woman over 30 who lives in Ohio...they were really hoping to peel off some hillary fans...not happening!!!

also, Bill Clinton called asking me to vote for Neuhardt....running for house of rep from Congressional District #7..she is running against a real shithead, Steve Austria (he is a tool to the nth degree)

The DNC is really pushing for that district (fyi former rep was Dave Hobson)

That call was at 3:00...we have gone from 15 robos a day, to ZERO since 3:00 (we did get 6 today before that one, 2 from Obama's camp and the rest nasty ones from McCain's camp)
