Rain expected in NC, VA, and Philly?
Edited on Sun Nov-02-08 08:56 PM by FVZA_Colonel
I know there's no reason to really freak out over this, given enthusiasm, coupled with the lack of liklihood of the projected showers morphing into something like a thunderstorm, but are the current forecasts for that region of the country matching those earlier projections?

But I really hope yours is more accurate.

4. rain in NC might be good
Obama's vote is more in the can than McCain's so having less turnout on election day may well help us. One caveat though is that NC is a huge state east to west (400 plus miles) so it is very unlikely the whole state will have rain which could matter.

5. I've heard it's forecasted for the western and northern parts.
Whether that's good or bad for Obama, I don't know.

7. Sun for Pittsburgh, rain for Philly
People better be prepared. Could cost a percent or two.
The forecast could also change.

11. Showers for the NC Triad area, which includes Winston-Salem,
Greensboro & High Point. Obama has had such good turnout among early voters, but I hope the rest will brave the rain on Tuesday.

12. I suspect Obama voters will be more likely to tough out bad weather.
Who wants to stand in line in the rain for a loser like McCain?

13. Enthusiasm could very well offset losses due to rain.
And it might amplify McCain's losses.

14. Precisely. I have a feeling Obama voters are FAR MORE likely
to vote in the rain than McCain supporters. Don't underestimate the effects of enthusiasm.
