What will you be doing Tuesday?
I know some of us will be volunteering but it won't be all day long.

What are you going to do with all that nervous energy? What are the plans? I don't work right now I'm in school and I have no classes on Tuesdays so I know I will probably do a shift for the Obama campaign while my kids are at school but other than that I don't know what to do with myself.

7. Voting, working and then getting stoned and drunk.
I plan to be totally passed out before they announce who the winner is. I figure either way, alcohol and drugs will be appropriate.

9. Working the polls basically all day.
Hopefully I will miss most of the big returns in real-time and will just be able to hear about them later. Watching such things in real time just about kills me. I want to leave the polls (it could be as late as 10 or 11 EST) and find that Barack Hussein Obama is president-elect, and then be able to watch my DVR of the returns while knowing that everything has a happy ending. :D

10. I'm not sure
During the day I'll be voting and bringing other voters to vote. After the polls close however, I'm at a loss. I wont be able to have access to DU at home and watching the news by myself all night would make me go absolutely insane. There's a few election night parties around here, but I'm not sure if I want to go. I know there's no way I'll be sleeping, so likely I'll just spend the night going crazy until our win is officially announced.

11. For a second, I sincerely thought that said "Who will you be doing Tuesday?"
Mr. LIW has taken the day off of work, and we have volunteered our services to drive Democrats to the polls. We may take turns doing that or do that during the morning hours and settle in to watch returns after school hours, depending on what's needed.

I am a Girl Scout leader and must be at Girl Scouts from 6:15ish until 7:30ish, mountain time.

13. I took the day off to volunteer-- but I'm worried they won't need me!
So many volunteers showed up the various Madison, WI headquarters today they turned people away. Yesterday (Saturday) I managed to get one of the last canvassing areas not taken.

I'm showing up early and seeing if I can do SOMETHING. ANYTHING. And if I can take my partner with me, then we can manage to stay away from the MSM all day so we don't go NUTS waiting!!!

Okay... starting to get nervous here folks. Need to keep busy!
