No more "race for the White House" for a few years.

I don't know why they'd need to keep him around.

Can Pat Buchanan while you're at it.

David

16. hah.....not so good on the reading comp.
saw Russert, assumed MTP, glossed over the body of the article

my guess is, no matter who it is, he'll be worse than russert, with whom I had no truck, but freely admit nailed McCain more than a few times, as the various youtube examples will attest

thanks for correction

12. Here's a clue about his nature

Re: Guantanamo allegations:

"In a revealing glimpse into the relations between the corporate media and the government, Newsweek editor Mark Whitaker said the magazine showed the report to Pentagon officials before it was published and made it clear that it would have agreed not to publish the item had they so requested."

9. The guy's basically unwatchable
Of course, that hasn't generally meant that the cable "news" outfits don't keep people around for ideological reasons.

Hence, Glen Beck....

15. Can Alex Witt (sing-songs news) and Joe Scarborough
Alex Witt sounds like she should be talking to a kindergarten class..her range goes from the top of the scale to the bottom and shows too damned much expression for my taste.

Joe is obnoxious...

They need more Martin Savage (got him from CNN and never use him) and a bit of Judy Woodruff and Frank Sesno wouldn't hurt.
