Many Marin Republicans are secretive about political persuasion

Well, those assholes may be "secretive" (read - chickenshit), but I am not.

From article:

<>

In September, Tom Wright, a Democrat who manages an art gallery in Tiburon, proudly recounted a story on the Web site www.democraticunderground.com about how he refused to sell an expensive artifact to a woman because she was wearing a "Sarah in '08" pin and expressing her strong support for the Alaskan governor.

Wright said he has no regrets.

"Politics has turned into warfare, but they started it first," he said. "You start pushing someone on the playground, and when they punch you in the face, you can't really complain."

<>

Fuck 'em.

Tom

5. So you advocate a compelte boycott of all Republican voters, do you?
Because those who don't proclaim it are 'chickenshit', while those who do don't get to do business with you. Is that meant to go for everything, or only when art is involved?

7. Go work Tom!
So many of the Repukes in my area are just plain snobby and rude. Huge houses, kids that dress alike, church goers, ETC. Yuppie suburban splendor. Yuk!!!

Anyone not into football, SUVs, and church is considered almost a Communist. LOL. Everything divided into "subdivisions" ETC.

Good job sticking it to these types. Country type Repukes can be just as bad as the Yuppie variety or even worse.

:) I like the fact that you would not sell to a Palin supporter.

8. I Still Think Refusing To Sell It To Her Was A Horrible Move On Your Part.
Sets a horrible precedent and is exactly the type of behavior we should NOT be partaking in.

11. Reminds me of what a mentor once told me.
He had just fired a client who was a good source of revenues, but occasionally disrespectful.

"It's not enough for them to give me their money. I want to be loved, too."

12. The tone of that article was really, um, what's the word I'm looking for...
Right leaning? The poor Marin County Republics, so put upon.
