I put up two lines of prayer flags.

One over my garden in the back yard and one in the front yard to announce to everyone that with every ounce of my being I pray that my countrymen do the right thing. If we don't, then god help us. I came home tonight after wandering around town because I am so bloody restless and afraid and the damn is starting to break. I watched my flags searching the breeze.
What we are going through is nothing to what we have subjected others to. Can you at least imagine the horror.

4. I asked a few young people tonight what this election meant to them.

Of course I live in a VERY progressive town and the young people here are amazing. And it seems that this election happens to mean an awful lot to them. Thank god. If they had come back with a cavalier answer I would have been pissed. Like, why am I suffering through this so much if none of you fuckers care. Ya know?
I'm too fucking old to keep this up. Do I see you bringing up the rear? No? Then why the fuck not?
