TPM: Rev. Wright ad on Sunday Night Football
Yet all the talk on NBC this morning was the number of Obama's 'negative' ads--not the percentage of course, because the percentage of McCain's 'negative ads were higher, of course--79% of all McCain's ads!
Rev. Wright Ad On Sunday Night Football

11.02.08 -- 11:12PM
By Josh Marshall

We've just gotten a flurry of emails letting us know that GOP Trust PAC's Rev. Wright attack ad just ran on NBC on Sunday Night Football. From the range of states people are reporting seeing it, it seems clearly to have been a national buy.

We already knew this was going to be a big national buy. But this showing seemed to get a lot of people's attention.

1. If that Wright ad has anything to do with your vote. You weren't going to vote for Obama anyway

3. Agree they are wasting their 527 money, but why does media not demand McCain condemn this ad?
McCain takes the 'high ground' and lets his 527 groups do the 'dirty work.' McCain is a fraud.

2. The game was the Patriots/Colts - so lots of NE folks watching
and lots of Colts fans and then some others.

4. Most of them were running to the bathroom or to get a beer.
No worries here!

5. McCain said "Obama seems like he wants to run against Bush, he should have run against Bush"
McCain wants to run against Wright (Obama's smart enough to see that three soundbytes over 20+ years of Sundays is not indicative of the absolute views of one person) and Ayers (40+ years ago, the guy bombed a toilet).

McCain, in the last few years, gravitated more and more toward George W. Bush's policies and views and is trying to say "No, I'm not George W. Bush ..."
