Reactions if Obama loses ?
With everything pointing to a solid Obama victory in the worst case scenario and a landslide in a normal scenario, I wonder what would be the reaction if somehow the unthinkable happens . We all know/hope this won't happen , but there are still factors that make us feel a bit nervous about the outcome. With so much passion, hope and effort involved in this campaign I can't even think of how devastated millions of americans would be tomorrow if Obama loses with a 11 pt lead in Gallup's final numbers, with a 90 % victory chance at Intrade, with an RCP average of 6.5 , with an EV projection of more than 270 without toss-up states on most reliable sites , with every single national poll showing him in the lead for more than a month !!!!!

I would personally declare this the biggest election theft in the history of this country and probably will never be involved in anything political again .

42. It would be tought to 'move on' after the Republic is officially dead
This isn't a normal election here. This is an election that is going to determine if the country is going to continue to be dismantled by the neocons, or will the people wake up and get involved again and get things back on track.

IF Obama 'loses' it will be because of massive election fraud - that means democracy is dead - therefore everything this country stands for is dead.

Move on and deal with it? Not so easy considering the stakes and what it mean if McCain manages to steal this.

9. "never be involved" - that's productive....
How about instead you work to ensure theft would not happen again, as simply allowing people to cheat is not very American, nor would that bring about any change. Hell, I'll even go so far as to say laziness and enabling are what allow them to cheat. Have fun tomorrow, btw.

15. If Obama loses we need to something
The most peaceful thing to do is to insist that the House of Reps thoroughly investigate and not seat electors from corrupt states. That would put the election into the hands of the Congress, where I think justice would prevail.

60. Disagree. Non-violent resistance can and has worked.
If the election is truly stolen, not lost, then it cannot stand. In 2000, we tried acquiescing hoping that Bush would lead in a bipartisan manner. We saw how that worked out. We cannot allow another stolen election.

I don't condone violence in any way, but if the election is stolen, I hope to see Obama leading the non-violent but 100% result oriented opposition to that result.
