My guess: A lot of republicans who haven't admitted it to pollsters are going to vote for Obama
I was listening to a group of elderly men and women talking at the YMCA (in a pretty conservative area) last night about how they had always voted republican, but that they were VERY excited about Obama. Someone said that while they at first had a hard time admitting it, they were EXCITED and definitely voting for Obama.

It made me think about all those undecideds. Who are they going to break for? McLame thinks they'll break for him. Nope. The MSM thinks they'll break half and half R/D. I have a feeling not. I think they'll break for Obama.

AND I think that die hard republicans are going to get in that voting booth and vote for Obama.

I THINK AND HOPE this is going to be a landslide!!!!

No go get out the vote everyone!!

2. I think this is true, because We're talking "pocket-book" issues here and these people know
they're not making $250K a year.

4. I agree. I am very optimistic
I also think young voters are going to show up in record numbers this time, and have done all they can to not have to vote provisionally - because actually, I think many young voters just didn't get counted before.

5. Agree, I think we'll see the reverse Bradley Effect...
especially among traditionally conservative women, they'll vote Obama, but never tell their husbands and friends, that is the beauty of a secret ballot.

7. McCain will get most of the undecided vote
Here's my logic:

Anyone undecided at this point has to be a complete moron, uninformed, baffled, out-of-it.

To vote for McCain, a person would have to be a complete moron, uninformed, baffled, out-of-it.

Ergo ...

QED.

Yep, landslide.

:hi:

Also, in talking with a few die-hard Republicans, they seem to be fairly conservative, and want the government to be honest and fiscally responsible. The Republican party no longer seems to satisfy them in those regards.

8. The people who truly can't commit at this point..
will not be standing in line for hours to vote, you can bet on that. Most of them, assuming they're traditionally repub will stay home. Some of them probably don't like McCain but can't bring themselves to vote for Obama, others probably will vote Obama but are too ashamed to admit it to the pollster.

10. Excellent, If we're going to invent narratives with no scientific data to back them up...
this works.

And numbers may actually back it up later on after the election.
