One of the things I love most about the last days of campaign season |

Is how they try to portray the two candidates as equally vile. It makes sense, obviously, because there's no way to make McCain look like anything other than a grasping, angry never-was, so instead they try to make Obama look as desperate and hopeless. You can see it in all of those "objective" analyses of the two campaigns' records on truthfulness: an outright, deliberate attack-lie by McCain is "balanced" by a minor misstatement by Obama.
It's kind of like pretending that a waitress who doesn't claim her tips as income is just as guilty as the CEO who hides billions of dollars in Luxemborg.
Gosh--how can we vote for a scoundrel such as Obama?!? Have we no decency!?!
