Seriously, just use a little common sense...what would have happened if Palin hadn't been there? Some secretary would write a message on one of those little pink "While You Were Out" pads, and give it to Sarah when she got back from Neiman Marcus? Do people really think government relations work the same way as when you calling your sister to talk about the kids?

I am astonished anyone could fall for something like this. Or defend it. It beautifully illustrates how utterly clueless and dangerous this woman is.
