Running on Empty..
They were playing this song by Jackson Browne on MSNBC this morning and I thought it was very appropriate. The McCain campaign is indeed running on empty. They threw everything they had at Barack Obama, including the Reverend Wright card at the very end. Yet, the voters don't seem to want anything they are selling. It appears that they are fed up with the Republican style of governance, moreso than the negative and divisive campaigns. John McCain failed to distance himself far enough from George W Bush to convince the voters that there would be any real difference and he will pay the price for that mistake, in my opinion.
