A Round of Applause is in Order
Very RED San Diego has turned the corner! We have gone blue!

The times are truly changing. This election has caused the closeted, never voted, Democrats to register to vote and they are standing in lines in droves to vote early here. :D :)

San Diego County turns blue for first time in 24 years

By JAMES B. GERBER, PolitickerCA.com Reporter
San Diego County is now home to more registered Democrats than Republicans for the first time in 24 years, according to preliminary data obtained by the county's Democratic Party on Oct. 31.

The early reports showed that there are now at least 433 more Democrats than Republicans.

"The last time San Diego was a 'blue county,' President Reagan was running for re-election, Arnold Schwarzenegger was starring in 'The Terminator' and gasoline cost just over one dollar a gallon," California Democratic Party Chairman Art Torres said. "Now, 24 years later, San Diego is once again a Democratic county."

Torres congratulated San Diego Democrats on "taking advantage of the wave of enthusiasm for the Obama/Biden ticket in this historic election year."
