McCain or Palin......Who is the worst of the two? |
|
Honestly, I go back and forth, both of these people are so despicable that when I decide that one is worse, I immediately recant and think no, the other thing is worse.

... McCain is just suffering from a temporary lapse into evil-ness.
That woman is evil to the core. We must do everything we can to make sure we aren't still listening to her little snarky mouth four years from now.

15. I know, McCain is the PRESIDENTIAL candidate, but PALIN would be |
|
the automatic shoe in for the next Republican leader. McCain, I don't believe, is playing with all of his marbles anymore and would rapidly decline if God Forbid would get into office. And then we would be stuck with Palin????? I cannot stand her - I don't want to hear her snarky voice ever! McCain is not to be trusted with this country's fragile future.

no contest
she'd actually try do do stuff
mccain would just do nothing - veto everything, not get anything passed, allow the continuing pillage of the executive branch, destruction of the constitution... more of the same
she'd be freaking rounding people up

Palin is a fool, but it's not her fault that McCain had the imbecilic judgment to pick her. She's merely the symptom of the larger disease: McCain's failing cognitive abilities.
Also, on Wednesday, Palin goes back to Alaska (or reality TV, or wherever). We here in AZ have to suffer with two years more of McCain as our senator.

plus, I don't think john mccain picked Palin to be his running mate. I thought it was the Republican party. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

|
I don't even think about McCain. I think about the possibility of this election putting her on the road to the White House. An Obama win makes that an extremely remote possibility; a McCain win makes it a definite possibility.

The pick of Palin by McCain feels like he saw a picture of her one weekend, found out she was a Republican, and now here we are. I spent more time researching the purchase of a camera than he did about picking a vice president. This choice made it very obvious that we can't trust this guy to have good judgment and that was confirmed when he "suspended" his campaign to deal with the bailout bill.

Palin is a nut. Certainly bad for the country, full of hate and greed and vanity and other horrible motivations. To some extent, she knows she's lying.
But McCain fully understands the ramifications of his actions. And I don't mean just picking Palin. I mean running the divisive and racist campaign he has. He 100% knows better and still chooses to do the wrong thing.

But for awhile before the conventions, though I knew I was voting Dem, I was thinking, Well if we lose, how bad could a McCain administration be? There's no WAY it could be as bad as the last 8 years.
Enter Palin.
