1 day out -- It’s Election Eve -- Obama to whack McCain on 'fundamentals'
Good Monday morning. We say “thank you” and “good luck” to the hard-working young people on both campaigns who have shared this amazing road with us and answered our stupid questions about schedules, luggage and documentation. Whichever side of the results you wind up on, you’ve had the ride of a lifetime, and we look forward to saddling up again in the years ahead. We appreciate your putting up with us and teaching us all kinds of things about life. Soak in the coming hours so you can tell your future kids everything.

EXCLUSIVE: Seven weeks to the day after Senator McCain declared in Jacksonville, Fla., that “the fundamentals of our economy are strong," Senator Obama will highlight the comment during a “Change We Need Rally” at the same location -- the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena . Obama aides contend that the Sept. 15 remark, on the day Lehman Brothers declared bankruptcy, “might have been the defining moment of the campaign.”
