Funny why do the repugs want to always stop people from voting but
stand in front of flags and talk about freedom and democracy?

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

Despite an hours-long wait he past few days, absentee-voting hours today at Veterans Memorial
For the second day in a row yesterday, the Republican half of the Franklin County Board of Elections stood up a meeting to discuss extending voting hours at the center today -- the same day 30,000 people are expected to hear Barack Obama speak a few blocks away.

Republicans Michael E. Colley and Douglas J. Preisse didn't show up for the meeting; Democrats William A. Anthony Jr. and Kimberly E. Marinello did, but without a quorum, no business could be conducted.

Colley and Preisse also missed a Friday night meeting on the topic, saying they couldn't attend because John McCain was speaking in Columbus. Preisse said yesterday that extending the hours was a partisan "fourth-quarter" rule change to accommodate the Obama rally.
