A few minutes from the GOTV effort

I had a few free minutes and thought I would update you all on GOTV effort.

Saturday and Sunday volunteers from working from my location knocked on over 3000 doors. Most of the responses were positive. About 1/3 of those contacted had already voted. We lost several volunteers on Sunday to the Obama event downtown Cleveland but still had a good day.

Today, we are just dropping literature (door hangers). No door knocking and I have several out there today, all very motivated to win this state for Obama and the Democrats. This literature is reminding them to vote and telling them where to vote. Most of the work for this was organizing the precincts correctly.

Tomorrow will be insane. We will be knocking on doors of those who have not voted early and reminding them to get to the polls. We will be knocking on doors multiple times. The tough part is making sure that the entire community gets covered.

This is how we will insure a win for Obama in Ohio.
