Monday Emotion Check-In thread...
What are you feeling this Election eve?

I am bi-polar today. I go from amazingly hopeful, to incredibly anxious. I change moment to moment.

How are you?

1. As my Mom used to say: I have ants in my pants. Can't sit still,
Should be doing other things right now but here I am. I've got a feeling I'll be here a little too often this next 36 hours. Going to vote at 8AM, then I'll stand with the Obama supporters for a while. Tomorrow PM will be awful,I think. Not bad news just long time in getting the final word to us.

3. Nervous excitement. Some paranoia. Emotional exhaustion.
My mind refuses to believe that the Rethugs will actually concede power... they're either going to try to steal votes, or rig the machines, or declare marshall law, or even attempt something far uglier.

Mostly I am exhausted from all the lies and bullshit from the media, Palin and McCain. I've turned off the "news" entirely except for occasional peeks at Tweety, Olbermann or Maddow.

In a fair world, we will win by a landslide tomorrow. I am supremely confident of that. It's just the dirty tricks I'm scared about now...

4. I didn't sleep well again last night...
so I'm feeling quite tired, but I am very hopeful. Even the recent lack of sleep is due more to excitement than fear.

5. I'm with you, Sannum
I may laugh, I may cry. I expect tears Tuesday night. Joyful, blissful tears.

I hope.

Yes, of course!

Maybe.

I can't imagine anyone standing in line for half a day to vote early for John McCain... it's going to be too close to steal.

These rat bastards cannot be trusted.

Life with Obama at the helm sounds so wonderful! I can't wait.

We're doomed.

Life is looking pretty damn good!

Ugh...

7. Very confident! and VERY looking forward to this thing being over!
Edited on Mon Nov-03-08 12:11 PM by RiverStone
For some reason, I was a lot more anxious a few days ago. I think I kept waiting for the late Oct surprise. Now --- I have settled into a confident calm....

Too late now for any last minute tapes or b.s. rethug revelations.

Obama's big MO can't be stopped. It's not if he will win, but how much will Obama win by?

9. My thoughts:
Oh my God, Election Day is TOMORROW.

It'll get stolen again.

No, I guess it won't.

McCain needs PA to win, and he won't get it.

Maybe he will.

No, he won't, he can't.

I love Barack Obama.

I love Joe Biden.

I hate Sarah Palin.

I despise Box Boy.

I love Chris Matthews....

I FUCKING HATE THAT BASTARD CHRIS MATTHEWS!!

We're going to win, I can feel it.

Oh my God, what if we lose?

But we won't, we can't--we must win. We will win!

Oh my God, Election Day is TOMORROW....

12. I am a mix of emotions today.
I am incredibly nervous and excited.

I can't sit still too long. When I watch the news (I can't stop) they say one thing and I get nervous and then they say something else and I get excited again.

I feel that we are going to win this but from past history and knowing republicans like I do I know they will not give up without a fight and I am scared to see what happens when it is announced that Barack Obama won. How long is this going to go on. :scared:

Deep down though it is mostly excitement, like a kid on Christmas Eve where Christmas day can't get here soon enough.

13. A little jittery, not sure why...
... could be concern and nervousness that the country isn't ready for a great man like Obama to lead it. (Though we desparatly need him now). Or excited at the prospect of victory.

I really don't know.
