...because that's where Barry Goldwater always ended his campaigns.

Now, I can understand an Arizona Republican's affection for the late Senator. And I can understand why Goldwater's reputation has been restored over the past couple of decades (compared to current conservatives, he looks almost progressive). But I can't see why a Republican presidential candidate, already down in the polls, would choose the symbolism of ending his campaign at the same place as the last Republican nominee to get blown out by a Democrat! :crazy:
