3. it still amazes
me that there are some black people who consider themselves Republicans. Especially after everything the republican party has done to us over the decades. I hope they repent and come back to the democratic party. (Yea You Amy Homes and JC Watts, I'm calling you both out)

16. If the Kenneth Blackwell on Hardball is any reflection, HORRIFIED
The absolute and utter horror of the black Republicans thinking conservatism will align them with South segregationist/white supremacists. At what point does that sound right?

17. I'm a woman, and I won't have pride if McCain/Palin win
but Palin's obviously a token candidate, while Obama got to where he is because of his talent and qualifications, though some black Republicans would probably disagree. Bleh. I'm sure some of them would think it's a cool thing...

25. Ashamed, ridiculed, jealous, stupid, lonely
They will be ashamed because they threw their lot in the the losers, and they can't take those idiotic words back.

Ridiculed. The chickens have come home to roost, and they have been rejected by a wave of change in America. They will be a laughing stock.

Jealous, because Barack in a Once in A Lifetime leader, and it wasn't one of their sorry retrograde traitorous asses who became the first "post-racial" black President. (Remember how Republican control of American government was going to last 1000 years? Ooops.)

Stupid, because they were so blinded by their self-deception and hypnotized by their own lies that they didn't see this coming.

Lonely, without their pensions, 401ks and maybe even their jobs and homes to keep them company, let alone the majority of Americans and other inhabitants of Planet Earth.

A few of them out there may also feel good about this, because it means they personally will have more camera time at the Conventions :-)

Still, they fall under the category of "authoritarian followers," so for some, no amount of reality is going to be processed in their brain-washed craniums.

26. Proud and happy
Edited on Mon Nov-03-08 01:36 PM by AyanEva
My boss is a Black Republican and she's full on for Obama and excited about voting for him. I didn't even know she was a Republican until she mentioned it today!

ETA: Ok, at least ONE Black Republican will be proud and happy. I don't know about the rest of them. lol I was quietly horrified when she told me she was a Republican this morning. I'm proud because I hid it quite well!
