Edited on Mon Nov-03-08 02:11 PM by 4_Legs_Good
Okay,

Edit: Changed subject. Word is now that he is is not anti-Obama, was talked down, and was an anti-war Iraq vet. Links in responses to further information....

Original post:

Lots of people late to work today because of this one. The incident is 100% true, but the anti-Obama bit is heresay so far. I heard from one source he had a "death to Obama" flag, and from this article:

http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2008/11/03/18548665.php

That some people said he was shouting anti-Obama slogans

Please take the Obama bit with a grain of salt. I don't want this to be another stupid assed Backwards B situation.

Developing I'm sure...

David

Edit: title a little

1. There's lots of people on the verge of going crazy...

..and the whole Obama thing gives them something to latch on to. More sad than anything, imo.

2. We may may be opening a republican hornet's nest.
They are such sore losers, and we haven't even had the election yet.

5. Now it appears he was pro Obama and an anti war Iraqi Vet
Officers allowed the man to make a statement, which including posting an Obama-Biden sign on the overpass's chain link fence.

6. This just shows what unstable freaks Republicans are.
They will stand by and allow Republicans to steal elections, run our treasury into the ground, mortgage the country to the hilt, start an unjust and illegal war, out covert CIA agents, remove our rights and liberties, spy on us, make sure the wealthy achieve and retain an even greater amount of wealth, and all the other crap we've had forced on us the past eight years.

What do we really expect from them at this point?

These are the same people booing at McSame/Palin rallies when the speaker talks about redistributing wealth. Why is that bad? Are these people in the crowd all millionaires? They don't even know when something is bad for them personally!

IDIOTS! Every last one of them!! :eyes:

7. Here's the latest info from a local TV station, KSBY
http://www.ksby.com/Global/story.asp?S=9283906

They're saying he's claiming to be anti-war, has put down the gun, and has a black bag nearby of unknown contents. Oh, and an American flag. Sounds like mental or PTSD issues.

I used to commute through that area... there are few arterial options other than 101 through there. What a mess.

11. Yes, let's do discuss the care, particulary for PTSD, that veterans have gotten under Bush.
I hope this guy is okay and gets the help that he DESERVES.
