Early voting in VA; 10% have voted in VA according to CNN
Just now they said that maybe 10% have already voted in Virginia. Do we know the Republican party/Democratic party/Independent break down like we do NC?

1. Probably not.
If I understand it correctly, Virginia's early voting is only an option for those who were going to be unable to vote on Tuesday. Thus early voting turnout should be considerably lower than in other states which offered a more open policy. And I'm not sure the results are reported early, as they are treated as absentee ballots.

2. I voted early in VA. Here is the reason for 10%
In Virginia, you can only vote early if you have a valid reason to be away from Virginia on election day and you can only vote by absentee ballot. That is still a very big turnout if it's 10% considering it's absentee ballots.

3. 10% sounds kind of high to me and no, there is no way to know party affiliation
because we don't register by party here in Virginia.

I also heard that 300,000 people had voted by absentee already. And I think turnout will be significantly higher than 3 million tomorrow.
