Thom Hartmann Show: Ohio Votes STILL being routed through GOP Server in Tennesee
Edited on Mon Nov-03-08 02:25 PM by debbierlus
Basically, the votes will be routed through a GOP owned server (same one that lost tons of White House emails), and then routed back to the election precincts.

How is this still allowed to go on?

Is anything being done?

:wtf:

I don't know if they would dare do it again, given the chance it would result in a serious investigation and possible jail time for the criminals...Watch Ohio. In 2004, Kerry was winning until late until all of a sudden, the vote flipped miraculously (and statistically nearly impossible) to Georgie.

On Edit:

Here is the Rawstory Link - This is NOT tinfoil hat. This is what the GOP does & after two stolen elections, people better realize that the GOP can't be trusted. I do not know if they will push this to such an extreme, but given their history and the set up being in place....

9. On the bright side, Obama has charted many paths to victory to hedge his bets.
I hope Obama directs on 1/21/09 a complete overhaul of the election process. The GOP has a plethora of dirty tricks to screw with the process. Aaaaarrggghhh!

5. Come on....

Does anyone think if this was true Obama wouldn't have someone checking it out?

"So, Barack...the votes will be going to a White House server"

Barack, "Ok, that's cool."

The tinfoil hat is on a little tight today.

Just a lot of conjecture and inneundo. If the Obama camp is doing nothing about this information....then

1-They don't consider it valid

or

2-They are not competent in fighting for Democracy

Until Obama sends a team to address this so-called issue, I consider it invalid.

26. Here is a diagram.
I would like to see a proper network diagram. It appears that the might be using internet VPN links in ways that might not be appropriate given the sensitive nature of the information. I would use encrypted dedicated lines wherever possible.

You're kidding right? He has access to power, wealth, information, talent, skill of the multitudes and some radio talk show guy or some blogger knows more than he does?

Is Mr. Conyers available for comment?

Will Mike Connell detail this in his deposition today?

Again, unless we restore our voting rights, nothing else will matter.

12. I called the Ohio SOS office and this is what I was told...
'No votes within the state of Ohio are routed through any outside servers. They are tallied here in Ohio by each precinct and then presented to the Secretary of State's office' in so many words.

23. thanks for calling, but...
I have the 2006 schematics as well. No one would release the present schematics or discuss them. But, I have the 2007-08 contracts that show the same companies employed. Based on this a). 06, 07 being the same and b). the fact that when I was interviewing staff at SOS who would not provide me with the current schematics and who would not deny the use of the same structure, it is clear this is till in place. There are no contracts I could locate showing the hiring of different firms for networking. All of them were the same firms. So unless the SOS hired and paid them out of her own pocket (hence no contracts), this system is still in place.

I know the voting system has been overhauled in Ohio since 2004 - I'm glad the precincts are tallying their own votes.

31. I am in touch with their office...
I have been asking them to provide certain things for months, including the current schematic as well as a tech audit that should have been done to determine if any legacy systems or structures remained. They did not comply. What I did obtain was the state constracts list, which shows that GovTech was doing work for the state well through 06 and that GCR (the project manager of the GovTech and SmarTech project) continued to have state funding nearly all of 2007. When I asked them about this and asked specifically what they were doing, still no answer. So perhaps now they will be forced to answer these questions. They have written Thom to say that my comment on his show was not accurate. I responded with these questions in detail and agreed to retract my statement if they would furnish me with the answers. Keep your fingers crossed.
