Poll question: Have you voted or are you voting tomorrow? A poll
I'm wondering how many here voted already and how many are going to go to the polls tomorrow.

1. We have no other choice in SC...
They don't have "no fault" early voting in SC so I would have had to have lied and said I wouldn't have been available, or out of town, or what have you. Since they don't have EV set up here, I have to vote in person.

10. Its easy to come up with a reason to vote early in SC but the
down side is that Absentee Ballots are only counted in very tight races and are easily discarded for various reasons. I'm waiting in line tomorrow because when this day is spoken about in history books, I will remember every minute!!!!

15. Exactly...
1st I didn't want to lie to get an absentee ballot.

2nd I wanted to make sure mine is counted regardless of the election's outcome.

3rd I want my I Voted sticker!

3. No early voting in NY
Tomorrow it is--bright and early. Glad I live in a rural area--not expecting much of a line.

6. Voted today because I will be working the poll tomorrow.
We got to the BOE 30 minutes before the office opened and waited about an hour to vote. Big crowd. I know that I will be busy tomorrow. Peace, Kim

7. i will be driving older, but many first time...
voters from my neighborhood...and wanted them to be able to vote in their regular voting place...so, that the next time they vote, there won't be confusion. Otherwise, I would have voted early.

8. just got home from voting!
I was crossing my kitchen with jacket under my arm when my phone rang. It was someone from the local dem office asking if I'd voted yet or if I needed a ride. I told him that I literally was heading out the door that minute to vote!

I have a chem class tomorrow that I cannot miss, so am glad I could do it today.

There were 3 of us voting while I was there. One young man was voting for his first time and was unhappy that they only provided pencils since someone could erase his vote and change it! They told him he could vote with a pen, but that law required them to provide pencils w/out erasers.

It's vote by mail only. It's friggin' awesome too! My wife and I voted Obama / Merkley. Had a couple of friends over Saturday for dinner, and they also voted the same, 6 more votes!

18. I'm looking forward to the day we all vote by mail like you do.
My son and daughter in law lived in Oregon so I'm familiar with it. They are in Australia now, temporarily and have already voted ex-pat for Obama.

16. No early voting in AL.
And I'd have to drive 70 miles round trip to the county seat to vote absentee.
Ours is a small rural precinct, so it probably won't take long to vote the straight ticket.

29. I think it was extra busy that day because the courthouse was
closed the day before for Columbus Day. I tried to go vote on Monday only to find the place closed up tight. Indiana's early voting started on Oct. 6th and I know that the Obama campaign has been calling everyone to suggest that they vote early. I made lots of those calls myself.

23. I voted the first day early polls were open in NC
and it was still a half-hour wait in my rural county. That bode well, I thought. I wanted to get it done the first opportunity. My mom also voted straight Dem the next day (Friday) and my partner also voted straight Dem the following Monday. Our neighbors voted for Obama (at least) during that week (which sorta surprised me, but I thanked them heartily). He said, "I ain't interested in makin' history. I'm tired of supportin' rich folks". One couldn't but agree.

They have reported double the usual number of early voters in Arkansas.

25. I am lucky..barely 500 people vote at my polling place
It's very friendly, open, and my codo community owns the place, so we are all treated well. Theres cookies and coffee in the afternoon which we provide to poll workers and volunteers. We don't let voters eat the cookies unless they vote Obama....just kidding.

28. Voting tomorrow. No early voting here and we are incredibly blue.
Taking my two little girls with me, 3 and 4 years old. They want to see where I will go to vote for Barack and Joe. They know who they are from me watching CNN all the time. I explained that I am going to vote for president, the leader of all the United States. Morgan and Christa are excited to come with Mommy and Morgan wants a "I Voted" sticker.
