I got a call from Move On last night |
|
asking me to to take people to vote tomorrow.
Me: "We don't have polling places here. Only a few counties in WA still do."
She: "Really? That's...good to know..."
Honestly, can't these people do a little research before they waste their volunteer's time? This was the third call of this nature I've gotten.

1. I got a call last week. |
|
She asked if I could volunteer in an office in Denver. I said no, but I would consider going to the office in Boulder. She didn't even have a list of Colorado offices! Or even an online address to check out! Then, without my consent, she put me down for volunteering in the Denver office. I know, because they called to remind me. :banghead:
In the future, all my volunteering will be done through my local dem headquarters.

2. Thats really too bad, I got a nice email |
|
from a local moveon member asking me to volunteer in my area. Which nearest town is 35 min away. I clicked on the times and it was easy.
Maybe the people calling need to do a bit more of checking which office is the nearest to the persons zip code.
