Poll question: What kind of pie should I make for tomorrow????
It just dawned on me that I promised my kids homemade pie for tomorrow. We're going to have chicken pot pie for dinner and then pie for dessert. I need help deciding which kind of pie to make. I will make the two with the most votes.

we will be making deep dish pizza for dinner, with pumpkin bread for dessert. And there will be beer. Lots and lots of beer - after little maladjusted goes to bed at 7pm.

14. *snort* I have 4 maladjusteds that I have to put to bed at 7 p.m.
I bought them Sparkling Apple Cider. My 8 year old is going to be a wreck if Obama doesn't win......In fact, I think all four of my sweet children will cry if the election gets stolen. And I have a lot of beer too and a bottle of Spumante. I'm thinking about starting to drink the beer now. :toast:

But since it's a school night, we're not willing to stretch it very much. It's like The Exorcist around here when the small person doesn't get her sleep. :scared:

on edit: Pumpkin pie. One of our Halloween pumpkins was decorated rather than cut, so we'll be eaten pumpkin this-and-that for some time to come.

It's a recipe of my mother's. The chocolate meringue sinks and has the texture of a dense brownie. Then I top it with ice cream and homemade hot fudge.

Ohio with Gov. Ted Strickland and them stopping off for some pie at a local place. It's a great little story, but it kept making us all really hungry for pie!!!!! So, I promised my kiddos pie on election day. :)

53. I have peaches and blackberries in the freezer, so it will be one of those two. Or maybe both:)
and I had dh bring home some pre-made pizza pies, to be on the safe side - pies of all types accepted here.

Can someone give me a synopsis of how this pie thing started? I know Obama said something, but I didn't catch it all. My dh is wondering what is up with all these "pies", as I made a cherry pie 2 days ago. And all I could tell him was "I don't know the whole thing, but let's say I learned that Barack and pie go together, and since I love fruit pies, I am going whole hog on this."

Stop me before I gain 20 lbs on this thing! I just got another two items from the donation store, and after all this time of pie eating and waiting, I am hoping they still fit - HA!
