Since we're at it, I wish Hunter Thompson and Kurt Vonnegut were alive to see this

They both lost hope, which is the very thing Obama has restored.

I really feel quite emotional when I think of these two men leaving us before this election. Both of them would have had their faith restored. Furthermore, they worked so hard to point humanity in the direction of sanity; they truly, truly, truly deserve to see this.

They have both been in my thoughts lately.

Like many of you, I miss them.
