I Think the Media Overplaying McCain/Palin has Hurt Them
Everyone here has complained, and rightly so, about the complete, unfettered, unadulterated coverage of McCain and Palin at their rallies. While I do believe that Obama and Biden deserved, and didn't get, equal coverage, I think that the saturation of McCain and Palin has, in no small part, caused the downfall of their ticket.

McCain is not a good orator. The more the media covers his uncomfortable, herky-jerky speeches, the lower his numbers go. McCain looks like a doddering old fool who is in desperate need of meds for his increasing dementia. He does not look or act Presidential and every time he shows up on television, I think he turns off more undecideds.

And the Palin hatefests did the same thing. Her whiny, nasal voice, and her hateful remarks, terrified undecideds. Her favorability ratings plummeted after independent and swing voters saw her, and by shoving Palin's racist, hateful, bigoted speeches in front of those independent and swing voters ad nauseum, the media has cemented the defeat of the Republican ticket.

We're all feeling pretty good about tomorrow, and normally I would have wished for more even coverage, but I believe that by showing American the true colors of McCain and Palin, endlessly, without interruption, the media has indeed helped Obama get such a strong lead.

2. I absolutely agree. Little Johnny is VERY bad at giving speeches
and with every lie filled sentence Palin spews to her adoring fans she confirms that she is seriously lacking in the intellect required by the Office of the Vice President of the United States of America.

3. I tend to agree with you
I mentioned something similar about a month ago and a lot of people disagreed with me out of a fear that their wall-to-wall coverage of McCain/Palin might actually help them and hurt Obama/Biden but that doesn't appear to have been the case. If nothing else Palin (in particular) has definitely been "exposed" and people clearly don't like what they see. Besides, there will be plenty of coverage of President Elect-Obama and Vice-President Biden the day after tomorrow if all goes well, so McCain/Palin can take their "coverage" and................ :hurts: If there is a God (or "higher power") we won't have to listen to them for a LONG time.
