Fellow Voting DUers: a Florida voter question |
|
I live in Broward County Florida and am planning on voting tomorrow. The voting place is about a mile or so away and I'll be walking, this is my question: if voting opens at 7am how much earlier should I get there to ensure a minimal wait time. I ask because I am disabled and have difficulty standing or sitting on a sidewalk for long periods of time. I was planing on waking up at about six but I'm thinking 5:30 now. What do you all think?

1. You should call the local Obama HQ - they likely have drivers available if you want a ride |

2. I don't live that far down the street from my polling place but I plan... |
|
..to get there at about 6:40
You know, I thought there were services to help the disabled/part disabled get to the polling places ??
:) :)

3. Take advantage of the free ride... |

I would think that 6AM is plenty early.
Also I think if you are disabled most voters wouldn't mind letting you go first if you wouldn't mind taking them up on it.
