1. She was a special person. I think my dad's father (who died when I was barely 12

and who I only saw a few times in my life) must have been one of these special parents, to have raised my dad to be the man he was. My grandmother wasn't much more than a ranch wife who worked her tail off canning and crocheting, lol. But Granddad was a talker and thinker (and a man of the law).
