4. Totally disagree. Donations to medical charities are made ALL THE TIME
in the name of people who have died of the relevant disease.

8. I work for a hospice, and let me tell you, it's done all the time. There's
no disrespect in it, and the funds go to help people, who otherwise, would not be able to afford end of life care. I think it's a great idea.

"Our family wants to thank all of those who sent flowers, cards, well-wishes, and prayers during this difficult time. It brought our grandmother and us great comfort. Our grandmother was a private woman, and we will respect her wish for a small private ceremony to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to any worthy organization in search of a cure for cancer."
