2. When he said he wasn't going to talk

about his grandma too much -- because it was too hard, and his voice sort of caught... sniffle :(

19. And then he did it anyway.....
... because it seemed to me like he knew he was in the presence of his extended family. If you have read his book, you know how much he thrives off of these crowds. I think he is literally taking comfort from this rally tonight.

... he will leave the stage feeling better than when he went on it.

3. Not me, lost both my mom and dad this year....too close to home.
My mom would have loved Obama and my parent's story is just like Obama's grandmother, My dad went off to war and she worked in the bomber plant. My heart goes out to their family, it really does.

24. They died 6 months apart after 67 years of marriage.
It has been awful, but we have stuck together and pulled together and it is starting to get easier, except when things happen that you wish you could share with them, like this election. I think Barack must be feeling the same way.

28. Exactly -- that's the hardest part

Thinking "I can't wait to talk to them about..." and then remembering. :( I am glad to hear that you have family supporting you. And WOW, 67 years of marriage! It sounds like your parents made a beautiful life together.

26. Actually, no he doesn't....
... he looked tired yesterday. Like the phrases he's been saying for weeks now were starting to get old even to him. Almost like he was ready for these last days to hurry up and be over with.

I watch these speeches ALL the time, I have them almost memorized.

He has renewed strength right now. I promise you. He is more fired up than he's been in at least a week.

38. He's drawing his strength from all of us.....
If you have his book, read the part about the first speech he gave and how it changed his life.

The words he speaks now is like therapy to him.
