Obama's narrative is like something Shakespeare would write
Watching him tonight - I'm not big on personality politics - but what a story his life is telling...

1. He receives the worst news of his life on the day before he receives
the best news of his life.

(I'm quoting Randi Rhodes here -- she got it right.)

5. If there's a God...
I have the feeling that Obama knows Him well.

2. I love this strong, kind, decent man.
Watching him fight tears, and failing, yet coming across as a strong leader, knowing what he needs to do, putting America first even while he fights the sadness of losing his grandma. I guess words just can't describe what I'm feeling now. I am watching our President.

3. Democrats are less likely to fall for the cult of personality
...decentralized realists that we are. It takes a real phenom to capture our hearts like this. From one who thinks leadership is among the most overrated virtues, I find Obama to be a once-in-a-lifetime figure.

4. You're right about that.
I'm not sucked in by this stuff. I didn't fall for Reagan's schtick, but I truly love Obama, because after watching him with a cynical eye for years, I've no doubt in my mind that this man is the real deal.

7. I hear you!
I'm normally such a cynic about this, but I look at this guy and start believing in something like destiny for people. I'm having a hard time articulating my feelings about all of this...

6. Isn't that the truth.
This is by far the most surreal thing I've ever experienced.

8. It's Awesome to see unfold
and such a great moment in American history to be a Democrat.
