Stupid election day question: Can my wife wait in line for me? |
|
Edited on Mon Nov-03-08 06:50 PM by YOY
She is not an American citizen. When it is time (or it gets close she can call me and I can come to take my place in the line.) I have to work tomorrow but I can do it from home. I live about 5 minutes from the polling place.
Anyone know.

2. I waited 2 hours last time (2006) in Arlington, VA. |
|
Actually about 1.5 hours.
I expect to wait more.

3. I figure those folks who waited in line 10 hours got bathroom breaks. Right? |
|
But I'm not sure about someone holding your place for the whole time.

I wouldn't see why that is a problem.

Why would you make someone else stand in line for you?
I am leaving my house at 5:45 am to go vote before I go to work. To be honest with you, I would tell my husband to suck it if he asked me to wait in line for him, but maybe being bitchy is just part of my charm...

7. I am in the middle of billing for my department. I will try the early wake up myself. |

She said to ask about this. She's the one trying to volunteer for this!
