A note to Freepers on the eve of the election

Hi. Sorry you are getting your asses whipped. Tough break. I just wanted to let you know about a couple of things so you don't start shooting when reality hits you in the face tomorrow night.

First. In spite of what you think, Obama won't be killing any babies. I know you guys were looking forward to this, and McCain and Palin have you all worked up about the baby killer Obama but Obama's position on Abortion is he supports another persons right to choose. Like me he's probably against abortion but he's also smart enough to know that it is not his place to make decisions for other people. You freepers claim you are all about keeping the government out of private lives so this should make you happy.

Second. Your guns are safe. Obama won't be taking your guns even though you are probably planning to shoot him with them. If you are worried about your automatic assault weapons, well, I'm certain that you can hunt and target shoot without them. If you can't manage to kill an animal with a single shot weapon then you are a pussy anyway.

Third. And this is the most important point. The Muslims won't be coming to enslave you. In spite of the hilarious lunacy that the right has used to claim that this is a "Christian Nation" the actual facts show that America became a great nation because it included everyone. Sure we had and still have some problems but America was founded and built on the creed that... and I know you have heard this one before, "All men are created equal". Obviously that needs to be changed to "all people" but you get the point, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jew, Buddhist, whatever you believe you are welcome to be or become an American.

I know tomorrow night you are going to feel like your team has lost the super bowl, but look on the bright side, when you team loses you will still reap these benefits:

Your taxes will be lower (unless you make a quarter million a year and somehow I doubt someone who makes that kind of money posts on the Free Republic.)
You will have health care if you don't already, and if you do your premiums will probably go down.
Abortions will decrease. They always do when a Democrat is in office.
America's standing in the world will rise the minute the election is called for Obama. If you are really and truly against terrorism then this should also be a plus for you as other countries will be willing to work with us on stemming the tide of terrorism.

And finally, when you wake up Wed things won't be any different for you. You will still have to go to work, take the kids to school, take out the trash and cook dinner. I know this is kind of disappointing to you, I know you are hoping to be able to use all those guns the Democrats have taken away from you(oh wait..) to protect yourself from roving bands of crazed Hippies and Muslims cheering Obama's victory, but the fact is, for you, Wed will be just another day.
