I was going to start a thread about it, but then decided, "why bother?"
I live in PG County, Maryland. There are a lot of African-Americans watching this commercial play in almost a loop tonight.
I keep coming back to the point, so what if one were to win an election through this type of smear, don't they have to live with that? And in that regard, do they think people will simply forget how they won? Many who resented (and that is putting it mildly) the manner in which Bush* took Election 2000 NEVER got over it, and our anger and resentment toward the man only festered and grew the entire eight long years we had to cope with his being in the White House. And people wonder why this Country is so polarized? Give me a break. We are polarized because that is how the GOP likes to see the Country -- divided.
I hope to God that all ends tomorrow...ends for good.
