For the first time Obama looks to be at peace.
Just looking at his face after the speech it just looks as if he has reached his own personal moment of contentment regardless of the outcome. It just seems to me that he has reached his happy place so to speak. I will admit that I still think that they will find a way to steal this election in the end.

I do find it comforting howwever that our candidate is at the very least at home with himself. Maybe it is the passing of his Grandmother, maybe it is the finality of the campaign season. I have truly been inspired to be the best I can be because of Barack Hussein Obama

2. He truly left it all on the field. It's hard to be anything but calm after that....
Let the chips fall where they may, at that point.

3. He does look exhausted too. I watched his entire speech on CSPAN, in my living
room with my cats and dog. I was enthralled...my heart was pounding. When he was done, I stood up and clapped.
My menagerie thought I was crazy...but I could not help myself.

4. I Thought the Same Thing...
He looked so much at peace...what an unbelievably emotional day for him...the loss of his grandmother, the end of the campaign, speaking to crowds of 80,000 and 100,000, knowing that by this time tomorrow night, he could be the President-elect of the United States. Yet, he carries himself with grace and dignity, providing the leadership we so sorely need. An amazing man...

as horrible as it is that his grandmother died, sometimes knowing that your loved one is no longer suffering can help. its tough to describe if anyone hasnt experienced this but when you know constantly that the person is just barely clinging to life and you are constantly uncertain of how they are doing or their discomfort level, it is just a nightmare. you just want them to be at peace and not suffer anymore

6. That's a lot to say good-bye to in one day.
I do hope he's at peace and I really appreciated his remarks about how supporters had made him hopeful - as if to acknowledge that he feels all the good will sent to him today.
