Indiana--report on my small rural county....

In 2004, there was a total of 21,000 registerd voters in the county. 10,000 voters turned out in 2004. So far this election cycle-before election day-10,000 voters have voted already!!!!

I knocked on 200 doors today and 200 doors yesterday all by myself. I worked all day. This isn't counting what the other volunteers have done!

Looks like GOP is hitting this state hard on the last night before the election.

7. It's true but its old news.

I've seen worse mailings in people's mailboxes than the Rev. Wright stuff. Some of the mailings make Rev. Right stuff look like putty. They've made Obama look like a baby killer. So far, it doesn't seem to have stuck with what I'm getting in my canvassing. It's only playing to the base. It's not touching the true independents who want to hear about the issues.

8. They are annoying as hell

I heard from a friend that his 92-year old dad voted for McCain because Obama was an "A-rab." Can't talk to irrational people like that.
