IT'S ELECTION DAY! TODAY, HISTORY WILL BE MADE!
I have waited 8 long years for this moment.

8 years ago I was out of college and healthy. Now, I'm a disabled veteran with 2 Iraq tours and sick of GOP, sick of Patriot Act, sick of Iraq War.

Let's go get what's ours!

6. I got my votin' outfit ready!
One Obama shirt (I'm allowed to wear it in Maryland)
One pair of jeans ('cause I work from home)
One pair of comfy shoes (in case there's a wait)
One warm jacket ('cause it'll be chilly)
One voter registration card & one piece of official mail (since I recently moved to Maryland)
One right pointer finger ready to touch the screen for Obama/Biden!

7. I'm rec'ing this because you deserve it after spending 2 tours in Iraq.
It had to take a lot of courage to enlist, especially under this flake of a president. My dad is a disabled vet of the VietNam war. You'd think we would've learned after that one. Take care.

10. Here we go. D-Day.
Best wishes to all DUers working to get out the vote and standing in line to vote. Don't get discouraged. We need you.

"Brood on that country who expresses our will. She is America, once a beauty of magnificence unparalled, now a beauty with a leprous skin. She is heavy with child-no one knows if legitimate-and languishes in a dungeon whose walls are never seen. Now the first contractions of fearsome labor begin-it will go on: no doctor exists to tell the hour. It is only known that false labor is not likely on her now, no, she will probably give birth, and to what?-the most fearsome totalitarianism the world has ever known? or can she, poor, giant, tormented lovely girl, deliver a babe of a new world brave and tender, artful and wild? Rush to the locks. God writhes in his bonds. Rush to the locks. Deliver us from our curse. For we must end on the road to that mystery where courage, death, and the dream of love give promise of sleep."
