Obama operation in Reno, Nevada is impressive
Edited on Tue Nov-04-08 12:05 AM by CreekDog
I am an amateur but I am amazed. The canvassing has been thorough, residents are saying that we've been through their neighborhoods multiple times. Over the summer, they registered a phenomenal number of people in heavily Democratic precincts. Now more people in those precincts have voted early than voted in 2004 (many times that number in fact).

At a training for poll watchers this evening, attendance was double or triple what was expected in the first session they filled all their slots...they had two sessions.

Meanwhile, we SF Bay Area voters are having a reunion of sorts, here in Reno, Nevada. if you are in the Bay Area, the parking at home should be easier since half the population is working to help Nevadans elect Barack Obama.

The Obama campaign from what I can see has left nothing to chance. Their plans are meticulous and savvy and aware of any tricks the other side might play.

The size, enthusiasm and game plan this organization has done here in this swing state is a sight to behold and gratifying as an example of just how good, how professional and how well executed a grassroots volunteer effort, with professional guidance from the top can be.

:applause:

I'm a "I'll believe it when I see it" type of guy, but when I see this operation, these numbers and think how Kerry only lost Nevada by 3 points with nowhere near the effort or resources (heck, Obama has campaigned in Elko!!!), frankly there will be results from this.
