3. I'm choosing to stay away until 6 or 7
I won't be able to take it. I can't stand all the talk and all the news. I'll be waiting until the polls come out.

4. I'm taking tomorrow off.
No WAY I'm missing the chance to savor every moment after eight years of hell.

14. Smart
I just took 2 days off last week so I didn't want to push it by asking for another day off.

18. Hey, I'm willing to be fired over this.
Thanks to Bush's fucked-up policies, I'm working a job that pays me half of what I made a year ago. If I lose my job, so be it. Not only am I going to savor every moment, but I've got friends helping me tape every moment of coverage I can get so that I can replay it over the years to come.

If you've got to miss six hours, at least buy yourself a VHS tape and do the same with the network of your choice. Years down the road you'll thank yourself.

I'm taping everything, and I'm going to convert McStain's concession speech to DVD. I travel with a portable DVD player and I look forward to wearing out many, many copies.

19. Well, the good thing for me
is I work from home and am in front of the computer all day long. And I can hear the TV from my home office. So I will be checking into the election day reporting as much as I can get away with.

5. I'll be in the field working all day from 7am - dark central time...
No access to ANY type of news, I would give anything to have that neat little XM radio headphone receiver I almost bought last year. If I start to hear the folks over here celebrating THEN I will get worried, I'm working in a red state. And be glued to the TV and DU once I'm finished for the day

10. Yea me.
Tomorrow I hafta be in the field. Most days I am online at work getting news every half hour or so whilst I do my CAD work.

Probably better though for my nerves.

13. I have internet access at work...
...and they gave me my two weeks' notice yesterday, so I'll be following election results all day.

(I'd rather be unemployed under Obama than employed under McSame any day of the week!)

16. I will be in Glendale, Ca.
for most of the morning and into the afternoon attending two depositions. I tried to get them changed and move the date to no avail. My best hope is to be done, get to my office in LA and pick up work for Wednesday and get to a television at 3 or 4 p.m. Wishful thinking.
