This repuke guy on Larry King justifies vote fraud ..
Edited on Tue Nov-04-08 12:59 AM by votesomemore
Larry something .. "if they believe the vote is on the 5th, are that naive', maybe they shouldn't be voting" !!!!!!!

THERE's their justification. SOME people just aren't fit to vote. It's in the open. Out there.

btw . the office manager of my small apartment complex thought election day was today. She is not a native.

1. That would be Larry Elder.
And Palin the Dipshit thought she was talking to the leader of France. No naivete there, right? Some people just aren't fit to govern.

3. Republican ethics -- "blame the asshole that fell for my con."
Edited on Tue Nov-04-08 01:07 AM by Overseas
But I guess that fits with the whole Country Club First thing.

You tell 'em, you Spoiled Republican Frat Boys! If they're dumb enough to fall for a letter on fake state stationery then they just shouldn't vote.

It's a mean world out there and Republicans are just acting natural, you see. Country Club First.

felons I've had the misfortune to get to know. Their "leader" told me that naive' people deserve to be taken advantage of. NOW I see the similarities. Jailhouse thinking. Since their brains are already there, certainly they won't mind if their bodies follow.

4. I'm glad it's on display for all the country to see.
Whenever I talked about disenfranchisement to a non-political in the past, all I got was an eye-roll for my trouble. Now that it's coming straight from the horse's mouth (or whatever part of the horse's anatomy Larry Elder is representing) maybe, just maybe, people will realize that disenfranchisement is real.

7. Kind of makes a mockery of that whole
spreading democracy cry. Aren't they the perfect ones to teach others.

People have been sent to JAIL for the 2004 elections. This should be more widely reported.
Obama has to get things straightened out so we can have non-threatened elections in the
LARGEST DEMOCRACY in the world. fer crissakes

11. This crap is bogus but...
I'm pretty sure we all agree there are LOTS of people who "aren't fit to vote". Yes, they have a legal right to vote but they're still not fit to wield their voting power responsibly.

14. There's NO way to do this
But think of all the threads here at DU (that we've all commented on) decrying the unabashed ignorance and idiocy of those who support McCain/Palin. See what I mean? We obviously think certain people routinely vote against their own self interests and wouldn't that mean we think they're "unfit" to vote? Like someone who continually shoots himself in the foot might be deemed unfit to own a gun. See what I mean?

15. Naw, I think you might just have...
pre-election jitters. I'm a total Obama supporter all the way. Voted early here in GA (Athens, to be specific) last week at the Board of Elections. I like DU a lot but sometimes I have a hard time with some of the stuff on here. It's like a big water-cooler sometimes where people talk before really thinking. I guess that's how most Internet forums are. But DU, warts and all, is the one with the most exciting stuff so I'll take what I can get.

17. Maybe...
But that's another problem with Internet forums. You can't really tell a persons inflection, facial expressions, etc like you can with a real conversation. As to the topic at hand, I am ADAMANTLY opposed to denying any legal voter their RIGHT to vote but I sure do wish some of them just wouldn't vote. Does that make sense?:)

22. Look at it this way.
There was a time in HUMAN history when it was ILLEGAL for some people to know how to read. They were purposefully kept IGNORANT so as not to cause any trouble for the Church leaders, or the Land Owners, or whoever else claimed the right to the blood and soul of the illiterates.

Why are some people deemed "unfit" to vote? They are kept ignorant. Why? So as not to cause any problems for the corporate fascists who believe they have right of possession over men's blood and souls.

No. I would rather see the solution of INFORMATION. Inform people. ALL the way. It would look NOTHING like we see today in the media controlled circus. People would NOT vote against their own best interests because no one would be trying to switch out their loaf of bread for a cluster bomb. Or confiscate 47% of the "rewards" of their slave labor. No one would tell them the lie that they benefit when they stomp on their brother.

No. Every citizen DESERVES to vote. It is secured by our citizenship. It is the gift of being born in America. What, however, we do not deserve, are the scoundrels who call themselves PUBLIC servants who serve only at the will of their Lords and Masters, the Cross and the Crown.
