If Lieberman is not stripped of his leadership positions
I will not be donating to Democratic Party until he's removed. I donate year after year after year. I love the party, but I will make a stand and be heard next time they call me for a donation.

1. Unless he is vote #60, I suspect he'll be kicked off all committees at the first caucus of the 111th

2. I so wish some nasty dirt would come out on Lie-Berman
after this election. He looks like such a puke standing and smiling behind McPalin.

5. This is tricky
If they get 58 Dems plus Bernie in the Senate, AND Joe promises vote to break Repuke filibusters, then I'm going to be OK with him having his chairmanships or whatever in the Senate... and remaining in the caucus. I won't like it... but we will need him.

If it's any other number, Joe can go stuff himself.

6. I'll take my chances with a Nuclear Option
before I would let Lieberman back in. There can be some other Senator from GOP who can be persuaded to join

7. Lieberman
He Is toast. Not only has he attacked Obama but he Is on film standing by and cheering as Mccain
attacks Democrats. The only way he Is not stripped of his chairmanship of the homeland security
committee Is If we get 9 more seats tomorrow and Reid lets him keep It to get to 60 seats to allow
Obama to get legsislation through the Senate.Of course If we win 10 he Is totally Ilrelvent.

8. If he is vote 60 ....
We are going to have to say goodbye ....

As much as we love you, and we do, I think the impact of progressive governmental policies outweigh our desire to make you personally happy ...

Democratic leaders are discussing a major reshuffling of Senate committee chairmanships, according to multiple sources, and the proposed changes include ousting Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) from his coveted chairmanship.

Lieberman, a former Democrat who supports Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for president, is likely to lose his gavel on the Homeland Security Committee he has chaired since January 2007, say the sources who see him being replaced by Sen. Daniel Akaka (Hawaii), the committee’s third-ranking Democrat.

Lieberman spokesman Marshall Witmann dismissed the speculation, saying Lieberman "is focused on doing all he can to elect John McCain as president rather than post-election Washington politics."

One Democratic source said Lieberman is not likely to lose his position in the Democratic caucus, even if the party picks up several seats in next week’s election. While Democrats could approach or exceed the filibuster-proof threshold of 60 votes, they may still need Lieberman’s vote often.
