This photo has been my rock in recent weeks. I think I've probably looked at it almost every night since I first saw it for inspiration. It speaks volumes. There's a little bit of this kid in all of us.

There's a little cartoon of a boy sitting in front of the tv watching Obama that someone here uses as a .sig line, I can't remember who now. It reminds me of that.

There's a "tears for Obama" slideshow over at Huffington Post that's pretty beautiful too. Brings it all home and gets me teared up all over again. And it really doesn't take much these days.

BTW - My best moment yesterday: Doorhanging in Munhall Pa - I come up the front steps of this house and the door opens, it's a little black kid no more than five years old coming out. I see that he's surprised to see me coming up the steps and he has a cautious, serious expression on his face. I hand him the doorhanger with the voting info and pictures of Obama and Biden on it and ask him to "give it to Mommy". He takes it from my hand and gives it a suspicious look. Then,seeing Obama on it he suddenly breaks out with a smile and looks up at me. It was the greatest conspiratorial, "we share a secret" grin I've ever seen. I almost cried again.
