IBD/TIPP adjusts final tally: Obama 51.5, McCain 44.3!

+7.2

The "most accurate pollster of 2004" is trying to get out in front of this.

3. Wow, they "adjusted up" 5 friggin' points in their last 2 polls
I wonder what sort of "magic" they have to do to their poll numbers to achieve such?

Well, knowing they want to preserve their reputation for accuracy, this is still a fantastic confirming result!

whatever the case may be, all polls show Obama. So either we see the biggest upset ever with the pollster proving their dingleberries are worth more than their polling or that they were right all along and we have the first MARXIST president of the United States. I tend to believe the polls are right and we are doomed. Thanks RINOS! If I am wrong, then I will surely post that I am wrong tomorrow.

Either every single poll out there is dead wrong...

Or this is going to be a very quick night...

Go figure. I STILL don't agree with them. I am still calling for McCain to get 52%
I figure McCain wins easily, but I'm assuming a relatively honest election. Apparently the pollsters are factoring in the dead vote and the other fraudelent voting blocs.

I keep reading stories about how a lot of Democrats are voting McCain - I don’t think they have any way to compute this.

I’m keeping my hopes up.

I thought the final poll had a 2 point spread? Oh well. We know the undecideds, as well as some people “claiming” they will vote for Obama, will vote for the safe, non-Marxist choice.

I know several lifelong Democrats who HATE Republicans who will not be voting for Obama. Period.

7. How could they not have?
Something's fishy - I wonder if Nate can give up the poop on Zogby and TIPP - they seem to have integrity issues.

17. IBD is super right wing and the tracker has been weird all year
They had Obama with an 11 point lead in the middle of the Rev. Wright mess, when most others had it much closer. They are definitely massaging their numbers.

Zogby is just unstable due to his taking the 2004 party ID and somehow weighting independents to still get approximately the right size Obama lead.

18. ...and actually Nate has already critiqued both of these pollsters
He was shocked at TIPP's lack of youth vote representation & has issues with Zogby as well.

14. They just took thier poll from earlier today and allocated the undecideds 2-1 for Obama.
Before the allocation it was O47.5, M42.4.

16. They "adjusted" the poll by giving Obama 2/3rds of undecided voters
without any explanation as to why the 2 to 1 split. What a joke. They really did just "cook the books" to make their poll more in line with the others and make sure that Obama is over 50%.

19. Here's What They Did
They have beem baking their numbers all season...

The cardinal rule of polling is the more respondents the more robust the results, the smaller the MOE...Of course you reach a point of diminishing returns...

If you combine all the national polls released in the couple of days the results must include damn near twenty thousand respondents for a MOE of less than obe percent...They seem to converge around 54-46... That's where those charlatans got their final numbers...
